We envision a world where low income youth and youth of color are equipped to thrive and succeed in any field they choose, including the tech and video game industries.

Gameheads is a tech training program that uses video game design, development and DevOps to develop diverse talent and bold new voices, train young people (15-25) for the tech eco-system, and prepare them for college, career and civic life.

Programs

Over the course of a year we combine video game design and development, education and career counseling, industry exposure, and hands-on training. We train participants on how to create, code and design games, building skills across specific fields necessary to thrive in technology.

Games

Our goal is to re-imagine the industry one student at a time, one game at a time. Our program approach is to challenge traditional video game curriculum to make room for diverse talent and bold new voices.

I didn’t think four years later I would be kind of where I am. I’m in college! And, there’s opportunity popping up left and right for me and my friends around me. It’s kind of an amazing feeling actually.
